At young pioneers we believe in enrichment and engagement.
We provide accredited education programmes that will enable your
young people to make a difference and develop key skills for life.
There are a number of ways in which your school
and pupils can work with young pioneers
Enrichment Programmes
Our one day accredited programmes are usually delivered to whole
classes or year groups. These programmes are also supported with
curriculum mapped learning resources for teachers and cover:
- Stay Safe (Managing then transition from primary school to
secondary school)
- Be Healthy
- Go Green: Manage your carbon footprint
We also provide more specific enrichment programmes
that cover Enterprise and Innovation, Youth Participation, Youth
Trainers and a Social Leader programme.

Engagement programmes
Our engagement programmes focus primarily on Enterprise and Innovation
and are designed for pupils who are disenfranchised with traditional
approaches to learning and NEETS. These programmes are run from
our residential training centre in East Sussex. To find out more

Feeder School Support Programme
Our feeder school support programme is a two tier programme. We
will visit your school and train 10 of your pupils to become youth
trainers, we will then support these young people as they engage
with your primary feeder schools to teach their school pupils. This
approach works particularly well when focused on Stay Safe and the
transition to secondary school

Residential
All of our education programmes are available as residential courses
and can run for a day, a week or longer, subject to your requirements.

Fundraising
Many of our partner schools set up young pioneers clubs and run
non uniform days to secure funds so that their primary feeder schools
can benefit from free training.
If you would like your pupils to demonstrate that
it is cool to care and make a positive difference please help us
by raising funds. If you would like a fundraising pack and curriculum

Carbon Detectives
Enabling your school to Go Green is an opportunity to involve young
people. Our Carbon Detective support programme involves identifying
and training carbon detectives who will help you monitor and manage
your carbon footprint. From school meals to transport we will train
and support your carbon detective team in school.
